First 2 .... down!! Ooo and some ring drama.
Jell'o Everyone!!!!
I have survived my first two classes of nursing school!!! Yayyy me! I passed with flying colors. Praise God.
Our last assignment was to write ourselves a letter. A letter that will be handed back to us on graduation day. How awesome is that? I wrote myself a little letter and I can't wait to look back on that in 2 years. So, whether your nursing school does that or not, feel free to do it yourself. Save it on your computer and name it "Graduation letter". It would be nice to see a glimpse of yourself in another time. It reminds you that you can do it. If you set your mind to it, you'll do it! If no one else has told you, I'll tell you myself. YOU CAN DO IT!
Today started off quite troubling. As I've shared with you all, I have a sweet lil fur baby and I'm married. Well I was getting ready to head to class and was excited because it was the last day of my first set of classes. As I'm getting ready (in the bathroom), I decided to place my rings and earrings next to the sink. BAD IDEA. I didn't realize that it was a bad idea at the time though. I managed to knock over a bottle of lotion, causing my rings and earrings to fall. As I scram to pick up my rings and earrings, I notice that my dog is running full speed towards me. I try to hurry but I wasn't quick enough. My little brat seemed to have gotten a hold of one of my belongings. I'm not too worried until I notice that I'm able to find my earrings and wedding bands intact. My engagement ring is no where to be found. YIKES! I go after her and check her main "hiding place" (under the dining table) and it's not there. Time is ticking and I really have to go. Now I'm hitting mini panic mode and wonder, well what if I bumped it into the sink and it's gone down the drain? Stress starts building and time is ticking!! Atlanta traffic is no joke and I can't spare another minute. I finish getting ready and head to school feeling horrible. I am soooo frustrated. 5 years of marriage and close to 6 years with my engagement ring and to think that it could be down the drain or my dogs belly .... I was not a happy camper. My mom was with me when it happened and she's an angel! She's heaven sent. She stayed and did her best to find it but wasn't successful! As she's headed towards the door she sees something shining on the floor. MY RING! My little brat snatched it (just as I initially thought) and saw me check her main hiding place (under dining table) and decided to switch it up! Ahyy yaa yaiiii! Needless to say that I was ecstatic to find out the good news.
So that's that! Back to my nursing school update. I finished my first classes. Kick butt classes are closer and closer. Pathophysiology here I come!
