NCLEX PASS or FAIL?! ..... the big day was STRESSFUL!

Jell'o Everyone, Why o why do we pay sooo much attention to what others say? We hang on to the words of others just to be disappointed. ADVICE numero uno: for all of you looking to take the NCLEX. Forget every single thing you've ever heard anyone say about the NCLEX. My exam is going to be completely different from your exam so why even worry? It makes no sense to worry about what someone's exam had when your exam will not be the same. ADVICE numero dos: take school seriously. There is no way that you're going to cram years of information into a few study sessions. It all builds up. Alright to lets talk about my NCLEX day. I decided that I was not going to study or look at any study material the day of the exam. My stomach was in knots already and I figured I knew what I knew and that was that. Jell'o Everyone! Yes little ole me was a guest speaker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS AWESOME!!! So, here's the 411 on how it went down. Wednesday's I'm off. I don't have class but I normally am in open lab practicing on skills, or doing some kind of school work (story of my life ... and every nursing student on the planet). That day I woke up, straightened my hair and dressed up a bit. Yes I did straighten my hair, I had to be professional guys, lol. I didn't want to dress for an interview but didn't want to show up in scrubs either. I wore a black & white blouse, hot pink blazer (not pierce-your-eyes hot pink, maybe more magenta, like blues-clues magenta, lol), jeans and black heels. That was definitely my fake-it-til-you-make-it look. Got to play the part til you really have the part!
